Have you ever wondered if you were getting through to God? Do you know what to say to God? Nehemiah 9 is the longest prayer recorded in scripture and gives us a good model to follow when pouring out our hearts to God.
1. Productive prayer involves regularly opening your heart up to God through worship, His word and confession (vs.1-5)
2. Productive prayer involves praising God for who he is. (vs.5-6)
3. Productive prayer involves looking back and thanking God for what he has done in the past. (vs.7-31)
4. Productive prayer involves being honest about our present situation. (vs.32-37)
5. Productive prayer involves making a covenant with God. (vs.38)
