Spiritual leadership is not limited to Pastors, it is for all of us who call ourselves Christian. Yes, the requirements and roles are different for Pastors or Elders in the local church versus say a small group leader. However, we are called to lead others - it may be into eternal life in our homes - or into Christlikeness in the church.
You may not think of yourself as a “leader” but if you serve God and care for others then you are a Christian leader, a spokesperson and ambassador for Christ. Spiritual leadership is not just for the church or ministry — it’s also for the family, community, our workplace. The people in your sphere of influence, those who know the Lord and those who don’t, need you to lead from the character and power of Christ.
